In this exciting course we will dive deep into the process of creating theatre in English! During the course you will have the opportunity to develop your theatre making, performing and playwriting skills; build confidence in English; and write and perform your very own monologues and duologues. No prior experience of performing is needed to participate - we will start gently with fun drama games and exercises to get to know each other and develop our "ensemble". Then we will progress to exploring characterisation, physical theatre and devising, before we begin to study and stage play scenes and monologues in English. Finally, you will have the chance to write, direct and perform your very own monologues and duologues. Whether you want to develop performance skills, build confidence, write creatively or simply improve your English in a fun way - this is the course for you!

Priscilla Bergey hat Schauspiel in Kalifornien studiert und in Berlin seit 1984 mit verschiedenen Ensembles gespielt. SIe ist als Schauspielerin bei Film und Fernsehen, Sprecherin im Bereich Dokumentarfilm und Computerspiel, Bühnenautorin und Regisseurin tätig und hat 2008 das Berlin International Youth Theatre im English Theatre Berlin gegründet.
