This course is aimed at students who enjoy the arts and would like to explore concepts of freedom and emancipation as depicted and expressed in film. The session will focus on particular ideas of freedom showing how diverse film makers have communicated the notion in the moving pictures. We will watch short film excerpts and clips together, reflect on their interpretations and identify techniques.
