You enjoy reading or would like to read more often. In this course the teacher gives you a new story or extract from a longer story to read each week. In class we will discuss our reactions to the texts and talk about how they are constructed. Through closely reading and listening to selected extracts, the teacher will help you understand features of English that are unfamiliar and encourage you to learn newly encountered vocabulary. To get the most out of this course, you will need to do some reading at home in preparation for each class.
