This 4 day, intensive, creative writing course will include generative writing exercises, which use prompts to set you off writing for 5-15 minutes without stopping to allow, often surprising, free-flowing thoughts through your pen onto paper. In the practise adapted for non-native speakers, you can use your language for words you can’t
find, and we will find them together afterwards. The goal is not to produce great, or even good writing, but rather, to loosen up enough to let words fall from mind to pen to paper. This one-week intensive will also practising editing and developing writing- either what is generated in class or anything else you are working on.

Required agreements between participants will include confidentiality, non-judgment, also of one’s self, and personal responsibility, meaning you can share as little or as much of your spontaneous writing with us as you are comfortable with and that
you share responsibility in creating a safe and comfortable space.
